The Blue Door bags the award for Best Live Action Short Under 15 Mins & the Audience Choice Award!
We were honoured to be selected for this year’s Reel Shorts Festival in Alberta, Canada, but to have been awarded for our efforts makes our inclusion that little bit sweeter.
The Reel Shorts Film Festival celebrates short films and the filmmakers who make them by screening gems of storytelling brilliance from around the world, across Canada, and here in the Peace Region. The goals of the Reel Shorts Film Society are: (1) to entertain, educate, and engage audiences; and (2) to grow the film making community in the Peace Region of northwest Alberta and northeast British Columbia by inspiring, developing, and showcasing its filmmakers.
The calibre of films in their trailer looks incredible and whilst sadly, we were unable to make it across the pond to visit the festival and enjoy the programme, we’re so pleased that The Blue Door appealed to the festival’s audiences.
